This was the first time I saw Riley, once she was born they took her to be put under an oxygen tunnel. She was born at 8:11am and I didn't see her until 11:30ish. Needless to say the picture below I was still recovering from being drugged up. I can't explain the feelings I had when I saw James bring our little angel into my room. I just thought that she was the most amazing thing that I had ever seen, aside from the first time I saw James :0) Overall, all I can say is that the Lord is amazing and so is my Husband. He has been so good with Riley, he isn't one of those husband's that doesn't do anything. He is very hands on. We have an amazing family.

Bringing Baby Riley into the World
The Proud Father: James was so amazing, he kept me calm (along with the spinal block) during my c-section. My surgery went amazing...I guess my southern twang comes out when I am drugged up, according to the doctor. But seriously, c-sections are the way to go, it was amazing and I am healing quickly.
Snug As A Bug In A Rug
Riley likes to be as snug as a bug in a rug, with the exception of her arms being out. She likes to be able to touch her face, she is always touching her face. She is so beautiful. She has her Daddy's little ears, his eyes, his hands and feet. She also has my skinny little lips, the "giles" nose. What can I say, we think she is the most beautiful little girl we've ever seen :0)
Riley
She is 7lb 3oz and 19 inches long
She is doing great and we have enjoy every minute we have with her, including her screaming episodes.
She was known by the nurses in the hospital as the little girl who is very tempermental. When she wants something, she wants it NOW, and doesn't care who has to hear about it. She has the highest pitch scream you have every heard...this sweet angel is definately her mother's daughter :0)
