So today I had the horrible task of taking Riley to get her 2 month shots by MYSELF!...James was working. Not only did my little girl scream, cry and turn bright red...but the worst part is that I had to hold her legs down while they did it! I felt like I was part of her agony. It was a HORRIBLE experience and I think I cried just as much as she did. Now, I know what parents mean when they say they never want to see their children hurt...it was truly one of the hardest things I have ever done. All in all she did pretty well, she was comforted by me of course and by Daddy (he was on his lunch break when we got home).
But other than the horrible shots, she weighs 11 lbs 5 ozs and almost 23 inches tall. She is a sweetie and we will be updating our blog with pictures of her once we get our new camera...our old one bit the dust.
I always hear the taking the little ones in for shots is the WORST! I feel so bad for them. I'm excited to see more pictures of her! So today was the first day of school. And thankfully it was my last first day, woo hoo! I'm good to go to graduate. Or so they tell me ha ha. It would be my luck to be denied at last minute!
